I have a Full Circle pickup on my Juzek, it sounds very natural and clear. The Platinum Bass is a great little preamp with a terrific one-knob compressor, and quiet DI. The depth knob allows great control over your low end, very useful in a variety of rooms. I use it for electric and acoustic bass -it's a real Swiss Army knife! I also use the sadly out of production Pocket Blender for my gut string upright - the Crown mic mixes with the pickup to give me a natural sound that a pickup alone can't provide - all out of my amp. www.fishman.com
