A good book for bass enthusiasts
It happened to be a bit different from what i expected.
Basically it’s a collection of biographies, so looks more like a book for bass enthusiasts and lovers of ‘old’ songs.
So i’m interested in bios because they teach you a lot not only under the musical aspect, so i liked it.
Plus, the playing style insight makes it more bass-specific book, plus the exercises, which are not workouts or real pieces, but excerpts very similar to the respective songs’ basslines and i think it is intended as an inspiration and a musical mind exercise.
The audio tracks are however very short and with an annoying 2-bar metronome introduction that makes them impossible to loop. Take them as a verification if your reading was good.
This is a good book but it’s not fundamental
