I purchased a bass guitar to play the game Rocksmith. Although the game is captivating, It doesn’t cover reading music. Heck, I’m playing the bass and don’t know what notes I’m playing. This method with the CD gives understanding and interest for aspiring bassists. It covers on a gradient scale, The instrument, reading music and music theory. I recommend it.
